This month, Layan has changed her eating habits a lot. She is starting to hate her "kids food". She always wants to eat our food. her favorite "real food" is ...., can you guess.... fried potatoes! (french fries).
Afnan has started going to McDonald's specifically to get her fries. If Layan sees the fries, she would refuse to eat any other food. I think she likes holding the fries in her hand and eating it herself (as opposed to cereal, which we had to feed her).
Yesterday we went to a Chinese restaurant, and I'm glad to say that Layan liked the food. She is coughing these days (common kids viral infection), and this is why she couldn't eat much. We try to keep her on milk and 'easy foods' during this time.
Yesterday, and for the first time, she actually stood up on the Fireplace and thus was able to reach the flowers vases on the Entertainment Center (the TV stand). We have "evacuated" that area now, and are putting things even higher. We wonder what we'll have to clear up next...
