Afnan and Layan took the plane on June 2nd, 2007, from San Francisco airport to Amman. Inshallah they will stay there until end of August - a long summer vacation for Layan to connect with her grandparents, and her uncles and aunties, and her cousins :-)
Layan made a big fuss on the airplane - she was very tired yet she couldn't sleep, since she's used to sleeping only in her bed. She may have slept a total of 4 hours during the whole trip.
Afnan maybe slept only 1 hour in this day of flying, carrying Layan in her lap, since both planes (to NY, then to Amman) were totally full.
Layan and Afnan arrived in Amman June 3rd at 6pm. They were happy, and had a big reception from both families. Afnan now is looking around to buy a bed and stroller for Layan for the stay.
